The theme for this tour is "Mommy & Me". I have to admit, I did hesitate just a bit with the theme because I thought to myself "Oh no, this means I have to be in front of the camera again". But alas, I survived.
When thinking about what I was going to sew up for this tour, I decided pretty quickly on the Carlie's & Kymy's Dolman Tops. I love the style of the top and I already had the patterns on-hand, so it was an easy choice.
The Kymy's Dolman Top (women's version) comes in sizes XS-5X and has 5 different style options. I chose to do the Banded Top version which features a nicely fitted band at the bottom of the top.
I whipped this shirt up in less than an hour one night after I got home from my yogalates class.
And that's when it hit me.
This shirt is PERFECT for exercise! The banded top version is especially perfect for yoga and pilates since it stays put minimizing the risk for wardrobe malfunctions.
PiePie's top is the Carlie's Dolman Top and the pants are the Jocelyn's Leggings. I'm a huge fan of the leggings and did a full review of them here.
The Carlie's Dolman Top comes in sizes 12M-20 Tween and has options for 4 different versions. I chose to do the Banded Top version here as well.
As soon as PiePie put on her outfit she said "Ooh, am I going to exercise class now?" She was thrilled to have a pair of exercise pants like Mom.
Here we are showing off our muscles.
See, I'm really good in front of the camera.
Now let's take a closer look at the adorableness that is PiePie...
As I was sewing up the first two Dolman's, I sort of fell in love with the pattern and decided to make a few more for PiePie.
These will be a perfect part of her Spring & Summer wardrobe and they were so quick to make. The best part, she loves them!
If you don't have the EYMM Kymy's & Carlie's Dolman Top patterns, I highly, highly recommend you go buy them right now. The pattern is so easy to follow and sews up incredibly quick.
If you do have the pattern, go and sew some up! Then come back and share what you've made!!
Don't forget to come back here tomorrow for the first edition of Tuesday Sews! I can't wait to see what you've been working on and you may just win a fabulous prize!

Be sure to stop by the rest of the stops on the tour too!
Ahhhh how cute are you two! I adore the colors, and now want some of that feather fabric for myself.
