DIY Baby Shorts: My Little Plumcake Spring Line Shorts

I recently had the opportunity to test the new Spring Line Shorts pattern for My Little Plumcake.  Believe it or not, I have never actually made a pair of shorts before from a pattern, so this was a real treat. 

The pattern comes in sizes 6mos-10!  It's always nice when a pattern has a wide size range.

The shorts shown are the size 18mos.

The shorts feature an elastic waist and adorable ruffle waistband.

 

There are several options to the pattern including a front waist tie, real pockets and leg bands (not included in my shorts)

 

There are also front pleats and a nice thin hem.  

 

Overall I was really impressed with this pattern and I love the way the shorts turned out.  I will definitely be making more of these!

The Spring Line by My Little Plumcake is due to be released in March, so keep an eye on it because there are some seriously cute patterns.
